Coming Soon: Carnival Masks!!

Carnival season will be on the way in the new year as many will be attending carnival and masquerade themed parties at the beginning of 2017. The Venetian Carnival season in Italy will take place in February 2017 but you don’t have to travel to Italy to get in on the carnival action.

Dublin Comic Con takes place in the National Convention Centre in Spencer Dock on the 6th & 7th of August. There will be plenty of excitement as the convention will bring celebrity guests, exclusive props and merchandise as well as an opportunity to get your picture taken on the Iron Throne. Here at Fun Place, we are big fans of Dublin Comic Con so we have outlined 5 reasons why you should attend.

5 – Artist & Craft Stalls/ Exhibitor Stalls

You can have a look at some artists work and opt to purchase to some exclusive and unique pieces of art or even ask them to create a piece of work for you. The craft stalls will have some amazing pieces of jewellery and other accessories you could use to complete an outfit or costume. The exhibitor stalls will have traders from all over Europe offering the widest range of figures and props from the sci-fi and anime genres.

If you attend Dublin Comic Con, you will have an opportunity to get a photo of yourself sitting on the Iron Throne as ruler of the seven kingdoms in Game of Thrones. The Iron Throne will be on Level 1 and for 10 Euro you will get print & digital photos taken by a professional photographer.
